A Volkswagen superou a marca de 100 mil veículos vendidos no varejo brasileiro em 2026.
Entre janeiro e 22 de julho, foram emplacadas 100.424 unidades para pessoas físicas, resultado que garantiu à marca a liderança do canal, com 13% de participação.
A fabricante também é a única com quatro modelos entre os dez mais vendidos no varejo: Tera, Nivus, Polo e T-Cross.
No mercado total, que inclui vendas corporativas, a Volkswagen acumula 251.577 emplacamentos no ano e participação de 16,5%, a maior presença da marca entre todos os países onde atua.
Considerando todos os canais, o Polo soma 60.766 unidades, seguido por T-Cross, com 52.742; Tera, com 47.735; Nivus, com 30.807; e Saveiro, com 26.443.
A Volkswagen também mantém a liderança entre SUVs, hatches e automóveis de passeio.
Em julho, até o dia 22, o Tera liderava o segmento de SUVs, com 6.314 unidades.

By the way, VW was already leading in Brazil, and by a significant margin.
At its peak, it had almost 80% market share, but for a long time it hovered around 70%.
Explain why they're only at 16% today...
